Product FAQ
Q: Why is it import that I polish or wax my car?
A: The multi-lay finish on your car, from the primer to the top coat is only .006 to .008 of an inch thick. Over time the finish will deteriorate and dull. Radiant and ultraviolet energy, acid rain, salt, pollution, insects, bird droppings all wreak havoc on your cars finish. Polishing or waxing provide a transparent barrier between your cars finish and a hostile environment.
Q: I was told that my car has a clear coat and doesn't need polishing or waxing. Is this true?
A: Abosolutely Not! 'Clear coat' is part of the paint system used on most cars and trucks manufactured since the early 1990's. This paint process consists of first painting the color (pigmented paint) which goes on flat without any shine, protection or durability. After the color has been added, a clear urethane paint is added to make the finish hard and glossy. Today's clear coats simply make the paint look much more translucent with a deeper shine. It is important to polish or wax vehicles with clear coat to protect them from the sun, pollution and other harmful elements.
Q: How can I clean substances off the pipes on my motorcycle?
A: Metal Finish Polishing Creme will remove small amounts of boot and grime stuck to your pipes. Depending on the amount and time it has been there, you may need to apply more than one coat. This product won't harm your chrome.
